Donald 'Smitty' T Smith

Donald “Smitty” T. Smith, 64, of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Born January 22, 1954, in Toledo, OH, he was the son of Donald C. and Beverly Smith. A 1972 graduate from Bedford High School, he married Kimberly S. Cornwell on May 28, 2004. Smitty was a salesman for MTS in Temperance, MI for several years. He was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers and Pittsburgh Steelers. Smitty enjoyed bowling, golfing and coaching little league sports.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly; children, Jenna Smith, Tyler (Alexis) Smith, Brianna (John) Whitehead, April Lewis and Jayson Lewis; 9 grandchildren and 1 on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Monday, January 7, 2019, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 8, 2018. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
